Bishkek, April 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has expanded its agricultural exports with the entry of domestic honey producer Medovaya Artel into the Uzbek market, supported by the country’s Trade Representation in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said.

The Trade Representation provided end-to-end assistance, including support in registering a legal entity in Uzbekistan, consultations on business operations, and guidance on compliance with local regulatory and market requirements.

On April 9, Medovaya Artel signed a lease agreement for commercial space in the Food City trade and logistics complex in Tashkent, establishing a retail presence for Kyrgyz products.

The company is expected to begin initial export deliveries of approximately 4 tons of natural honey in the near term, marking a step forward in promoting Kyrgyz agricultural goods in regional markets.
