Kyrgyz ministry of internal affairs presents modernized key facilities to Cabinet head

Bishkek, May 26, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev conducted a working visit to the facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he inspected the results of the large-scale reconstruction and technical re-equipment of its units.

It is worth noting that the event was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During his visit to the Shumkar Special Forces Regiment, the chairman inspected the unit's updated infrastructure. New barracks have been built, an indoor mini-football field has been erected, and the gym and office space have been completely renovated. Repair and restoration work has also been completed on the unit's premises. Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that creating comfortable conditions directly impacts the physical and professional fitness of special forces personnel.

Particular attention was paid to the modernization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Forensic Science Service. The chairman visited the newly installed high-tech systems, which meet international standards.

According to Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, the laboratory is equipped with high-tech equipment, guaranteeing absolute accuracy and reliability of molecular genetic testing.

The service has also implemented the automated ballistic system "POISK" and the fingerprinting system "Sonda," which significantly speed up the process of solving crimes.

Furthermore, the chairman inspected the building of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs in Bishkek following major renovation. The building's utilities have been completely replaced, and the lighting and electrical systems have been upgraded.

Following the inspection, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that strengthening law enforcement infrastructure and improving working conditions for officers directly contributes to increased police effectiveness and reliable citizen safety.
