Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025 /Kabar/. For the first time in the history of independent Kyrgyzstan, the State Tax Service fulfilled its annual tax and fee collection plan ahead of schedule.

According to the service, the approved plan was 268 billion 326.4 million soms in taxes to be collected in 2025. Tax Service fully met this target, demonstrating sustainable growth in tax revenues and the effectiveness of its reforms. Furthermore, according to preliminary estimates, the plan is to be exceeded by the end of 2025. The total volume of taxes and fees could exceed 300 billion soms.

From January to November 2025 alone, the Tax Service collected 275 billion 742 million soms in taxes and fees. The established plan was exceeded by 12 billion 271 million soms. Compared to the same period in 2024, revenue increased by 71 billion 881 million soms.

Insurance premium collection also improved. The total amounted to 74 billion 57 million soms, exceeding the plan by 1 billion 217 million soms. Compared to the 11 months of last year, collections were 7 billion 680 million soms more. Total tax and insurance premium revenues for the 11 months of this year reached 349.8 billion soms. It is worth noting that this growth was not due to increase of tax burden, but expansion of the taxpayer base, the digitalization of processes, and increased voluntary tax payment.

These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the ongoing reforms, the sustainable development of the country's tax system, and the increased tax literacy of citizens.
