Bishkek, May 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and China discussed the prospects for an investment project to build a cement plant in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced during a meeting between the head of the National Investment Agency, Ravshanbek Sabirov, and representatives of the Chinese companies Xintai Yanlin Cement and Xintai Taixing Mechanical Equipment.
According to the agency's press service, the Chinese side expressed interest in launching a modern production complex focused on cement production and in developing the country's construction industry. During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation, production capacity placement, investment conditions, and prospects for localizing production and creating new jobs were discussed.
As a result, the parties expressed their willingness to deepen investment cooperation and agreed to continue detailed development of the cement plant construction project in Kyrgyzstan, including exploring potential project sites, investment parameters, and cooperation mechanisms.
