Bishkek, May 19, 2026 /Kabar/. At the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Minister Bakyt Sydykov met with representatives of the European companies Edelweiss Group, Piper Deutschland AG, Swissows AG, BRUGG, and Mountain Wolf. The ministry's press service reported this.
During the talks, the parties discussed expanding investment, industrial, and technological cooperation, as well as the implementation of major joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to initiatives to create a Eurasian Industrial and Financial Park and a Kyrgyz-Swiss Investment Fund.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and Edelweiss Group signed memoranda in two areas:
— creation of Eurasian Industrial and Financial Park;
— creation of Kyrgyz-Swiss Investment Fund.
As noted by the parties, these initiatives are aimed at attracting foreign investment, introducing modern technologies, developing the industrial sector, and strengthening international economic cooperation.
