Bishkek, April 8, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Defense Minister Ruslan Mukambetov met with Erhan Afyoncu, Rector of the Turkish National Defense University.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in military education. Particular attention was paid to strengthening partnerships, exchanging experience, and training highly qualified military personnel.
During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Erhan Afyoncu also visited the Ata-Beyit Memorial Complex, where he laid flowers and a wreath in memory of the fallen.
