Bishkek, June 19, 2026. /Kabar/. In Astana, the Chairman of the Kyrgyz Supreme Court Mederbek Satyev met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Inam Kerimov.
According to the institution, the meeting took place within the framework of the Second Conference of the Supreme Courts of the Member States of the Turkic States Organization (OTS).
The main purpose of the meeting was to expand practical cooperation between the judicial systems of the two brotherly countries and share experiences in digital transformation.
Mederbek Satyev proposed signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Supreme Courts of the two countries in order to put relations on a systematic and official path.
Within the framework of the document, it is planned to jointly organize programs for the exchange of judicial experience, improving the qualifications of judges and judicial personnel.
Kyrgyz side also noted that Azerbaijan's achievements in modernizing the judicial system, introducing modern management mechanisms and digitalization are of great interest to the OTS member states.
At the end of the meeting, the parties unanimously confirmed that these steps will not only strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, but also increase the effectiveness of judicial protection of citizens' rights.
