Kyrgyzstan, Belarus to cooperate in construction projects, memo signed

Bishkek, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan Bolot Cholponbaev and First Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction of Belarus Vladimir Naumovich.

During the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation in territorial planning, aimed at developing bilateral cooperation, exchanging experience, and implementing joint projects.

The parties discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the construction sector. They also exchanged views on the supply of building materials for projects being built in the Kyrgyz Republic, the provision of design services, the development of urban planning documentation, and the participation of Belarusian companies in industrial construction projects.

During the meeting, the Belarusian side presented opportunities for the supply of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, glass and glass products, metal structures, reinforced concrete pipes, railroad ties, and other building materials.

Special attention was paid to cooperation in the design of educational, healthcare, sports, and retail facilities, multifunctional complexes, industrial enterprises, and engineering infrastructure.

This meeting was held as part of the official visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin to Kyrgyzstan.

The ministry emphasizes that the development of international cooperation facilitates the implementation of modern technologies, the exchange of best practices, the attraction of investment, and the further development of the construction industry in Kyrgyzstan.
