Kyrgyzstan, Belarus to increase trade turnover to 500 mln US dollars by 2030

Bishkek, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The goal of increasing mutual trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus to half a billion US dollars by 2030 has been set, Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin speaks at Kyrgyz-Belarusian Business Forum.

According to him, parties make special efforts to achieve this goal. Representatives of the business communities of the two countries, in accordance with the signed strategic agreements, must ensure the creation of jobs and the launch of production.

Turchin noted that the measures taken by Kyrgyz leadership for industrialization and economic development are creating favorable conditions for taking trade and economic relations to a new level. Belarus views Kyrgyzstan as a promising platform for long-term cooperation and the creation of joint ventures. According to him, the parties have political will, cooperation within the EAEU, and mutual commitments to strengthening economic ties in the long term.

Belarusian PM noted that the two countries' industrial priorities have been defined within two roadmaps for 2027 and 2030. Belarusian technologies have long been in demand in Kyrgyzstan, but today there is a need to move beyond simple trade to the implementation of cooperative projects.

He emphasized that financial mechanisms for joint projects have been established. The Development Bank of Belarus and the State Development Bank of Kyrgyzstan signed agreement, allowing for the use of available credit resources.

Turchin stated that the forum will serve as platform for creating new partnerships.
