Bishkek, April 9, 2026 /Kabar/. The Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan held a working meeting with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), during which current issues in the tourism industry's development were discussed.
According to the fund, the meeting was held in the format of open dialogue and experience exchange. Participants discussed the current state of Kyrgyzstan's tourism sector, as well as possible approaches to its further development, taking into account international practices, including Japanese experience in tourism.
Particular attention was paid to knowledge sharing and the implementation of best practices to ensure sustainable growth in the industry. The parties emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the face of modern challenges.
The meeting was intended to be introductory and expert-level, and served as a platform for discussing promising areas of cooperation.
