Bishkek, May 22, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Asanov met with Alexey Kim, head of the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders Switzerland.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in emergency response and providing medical assistance to the affected population.
Particular attention was paid to measures to improve emergency preparedness, the rapid deployment of medical missions, and strengthening coordination between national services and international partners.
They discuss prospects for expanding joint initiatives, including training specialists, conducting educational events, and implementing modern approaches in emergency medicine and humanitarian response.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and implementing joint projects in Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the meeting, they agreed to continue collaboration in priority areas.
