Kyrgyzstan expands participation in global supply chains

Bishkek, May 1, 2026. /Kabar/. From April 27 to 29, an international logistics exhibition was held in Chengdu, China, where Kyrgyzstan presented its vision for integrating into global supply chains.

According to the State Customs Service, Elnura Mambetzhunusheva, Deputy Chairperson of the State Customs Service, delivered the keynote address.

In her speech, she outlined the priority of transitioning to a new format of interaction between the state and business. The main emphasis was on the digitalization of customs processes, increasing the transparency of procedures, and reducing the time required to move goods across borders. She noted that the customs reforms being implemented in Kyrgyzstan are aimed at creating a favorable environment for international trade, unlocking the country's transit potential, and strengthening its position in regional and global logistics.

The Kyrgyz delegation's participation in the exhibition confirmed its commitment to expanding international cooperation and implementing modern digital solutions in logistics and customs administration.
