The multidisciplinary mega-project of strategic importance, EXPO-DEMILGE, launched in Kyrgyzstan in April of this year, Adilbek uulu Shumkarbek, Director of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives and Chairman of the Organizing Committee told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that this project is designed to select the best ideas and initiatives aimed at developing the country. "The Organizing Committee is currently functioning, comprising representatives of government agencies, the scientific and creative community, and the public," he said.
The project's core philosophy is to achieve success through the effective combination of human potential, innovative ideas, and financial resources.
The project's key objectives are:
Resource consolidation: channeling the capabilities of the public, private, and social sectors toward national development;
Support: facilitating the implementation of selected promising ideas and initiatives;
Striving for unity: strengthening national unity through targeted, joint action.
The EXPO-DEMILGE competition is held annually in four stages and will conclude in December of this year.
