Bishkek, April 17, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 16, the mining industry forum "Leadership Strategy in the New Reality," organized by the Union of Subsoil Users of Kyrgyzstan, took place in Bishkek at Kyrgyzaltyn JSC.
The main objective of the forum was to develop a growth strategy for the mining industry. Participants discussed how to balance the interests of the state and business to strengthen the economy. Key topics included environmental standards, digitalization, and attracting investment.
Furthermore, important focus of discussion was the development of the country's human resources potential in this industry. Particular attention was paid to the creation of a specialized education system and the training of a new generation of experts.
In his speech, Kubat Abdraimov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn JSC, noted the importance of systematically developing human resources and the company's readiness to actively participate in this process.
"The development of the mining industry is impossible without high-quality training for a new generation of specialists who possess not only theoretical knowledge but also strong practical skills. Kyrgyzaltyn is ready to further expand its cooperation with specialized educational institutions, develop practical training programs and internships for young specialists, and create conditions for their professional growth and retention in the industry," said Kubat Abdraimov.
In turn, Erlist Akunbekov, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, called on forum participants to move from discussions to concrete actions. He emphasized that only the comprehensive work of all stakeholders will enable the achievement of the set goals and ensure a qualitative leap in the development of the mining industry.
Following the forum, Kyrgyzaltyn JSC signed memorandum of cooperation in personnel training with leading Kyrgyz universities, namely Kyrgyz National University, Kyrgyz State technical University, and Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University.
The document provides for the organization of targeted training for students in relevant fields, on-the-job training and internships at Kyrgyzaltyn JSC enterprises, and the participation of company specialists in educational processes.
