Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Association for the development of unmanned aerial technologies and Adam University signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing unmanned aerial vehicle technologies in the civilian sector of Kyrgyzstan.

The document sets forth the parties' intention to build systemic collaboration in education, engineering development, and the development of a professional industry environment.

University Rector Svetlana Sirmbard and Chaiman of association Alexander Kim signed the document.

The meeting was also attended by association member Ilyas Isaev, who oversees the technical direction and projects for the development of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles.

It is noted that the signed memorandum is a framework document and is viewed by the parties as the first step toward long-term cooperation. The primary focus of the partnership is the development of exclusively civilian applications of unmanned technologies, including infrastructure monitoring, agriculture, environmental projects, cartography, media, logistics, and other peaceful economic sectors.

The university expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support for the development of the industry—from training specialists and creating educational programs to participating in research and applied projects jointly with the association and its members.

"We view unmanned technologies primarily as a tool for the development of the civilian economy, science, and education. The university is ready to participate in the development of a modern educational base, training specialists, and supporting technological initiatives together with the industry community," noted Rector Svetlana Sirmbard.

Association Chairman Alexander Kim emphasized that the memorandum is the starting point for systematic work. " Our goal is the consistent development of the civilian market for unmanned technologies, training personnel, and creating the conditions for the emergence of engineering and technological projects within the country," he said.

The signing of the memorandum is viewed by the parties as the beginning of systematic work to establish a modern educational, technological, and professional base in the field of civilian unmanned technologies in Kyrgyzstan.
