Kyrgyzstan signs 14 agreements at SPIEF

Bishkek, June 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan participated in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIF) with own national stand, presenting the country's investment, export, and economic potential.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, two strategic projects: Ala-Too Resort ski cluster and Tamchy special financial and investment territory (SFIT) attracted particular attention from forum participants. These initiatives were presented as key areas for developing the republic's tourism and investment potential.

In addition, projects in hydropower, agriculture, export development, tourism, and investment attraction were presented at the forum.

Following SPIEF 2026, Kyrgyzstan signed 14 agreements and memoranda covering trade, economic, investment, educational, scientific, technical, and interregional cooperation.

Key documents included agreements with Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russian educational and business organizations, and partners of Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

Participation in the forum confirmed Kyrgyzstan's commitment to expanding international economic cooperation, attracting investment, and creating new opportunities for the country's sustainable development.
