Bishkek, June 15, 2026 /Kabar/. The first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Korean Cooperation Committee on Trade and Investment was held in Bishkek.
According to the ministry of economy and commerce, the parties discussed key areas for the development of bilateral economic partnership.
The focus was on expanding trade and investment, the opening of the KOTRA Trade Center in Bishkek, and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
Participants discussed prospects for cooperation in the critical minerals sector, official development assistance (ODA), improving the business environment, and import diversification with the participation of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA).
