Bishkek, June 1, 2026. /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Gulnura Mamyrova participated in the "Anti-counterfeiting-2026" international forum in Astana.
According to the department, the forum is dedicated to combating the illegal circulation of industrial products and protecting intellectual property rights within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The main theme of the forum was "Counterfeit-Free Digital Economy: Trust and Transparency".
At the forum, Kyrgyz side provided information on the system of protection and enforcement of intellectual property, develop the regulatory framework, and strengthen law enforcement practice.
Speaking at the international forum, Gulnura Mamyrova noted that intellectual property is today one of the main factors of sustainable economic growth, technological development, and increasing the competitiveness of states.
"Today, intellectual property protection is becoming integral part of sustainable economic development, innovative growth, and the international competitiveness of states. Kyrgyzstan consistently strengthens the intellectual property protection system and supports the development of effective international cooperation in combating counterfeit products and violations of the rights of right holders," she noted.
As a result of the forum, the participants decided to further strengthen the interaction of government agencies and consolidate efforts, emphasizing the important role of youth in the development of an innovative economy and the protection of intellectual property.
