Bishkek, May 13, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov met with the Swiss Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Siroko Messerli.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the prospects for Kyrgyz-Swiss trade and economic cooperation, as well as support for small and medium-sized businesses.
During the meeting, information was presented on the SME development program until 2030, ongoing reforms to reduce bureaucracy and digitalize the permitting system.
It was stated that as part of the reform, the number of permits required has been reduced from 905 to 439, with another 199 documents subject to further optimization.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to strengthen their joint efforts to create favorable conditions for business development.
