Kyrgyzstan to build first plant on seismic insulation components

Bishkek, June 16, 2026 /Kabar/. On June 15, time capsule laying ceremony was held in Bishkek to mark the start of construction of Kyrgyzstan's first seismic insulation component manufacturing plant. Nurdan Oruntaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services attended the event.

According to the ministry, during the ceremony, the ministry and the Chinese company Nanjing Dade Technology Co signed investment agreement.

Speaking to the event participants, Nurdan Oruntaev emphasized that ensuring seismic safety and introducing modern technologies into the construction industry are among the priority areas of state policy.

The new plant will be located at 2 Valikhanov Street, Bishkek. According to the project, the production complex will cover 6,222 square meters. The facility will be located on the premises of an existing institute.

Once commissioned, the plant will produce modern seismic insulation components designed to improve the earthquake resilience of buildings and structures.

Following the event, the minister also toured the testing laboratory of the Republican Center for Certification in Construction, located at this address.
