Bishkek, May 19, 26 /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, May 26 has been designated as Arafa Day, and May 27 as Kurman Ait (Eid al-Adha). This was reported by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.

Eid al-Adha translates from Arabic as "Feast of Sacrifice." Livestock is most often sacrificed. The meat is traditionally divided into three parts: one is kept for the family, the second is given to relatives and friends, and the third is distributed to those in need.
