Bishkek, May 13, 2026 /Kabar/. Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Sydykov met with Hazreti Akdemir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish company RHOFA Energy.
The parties discussed expanding Kyrgyz-Turkish trade and economic cooperation and investment collaboration in the field of green energy.
Bakyt Sydykov noted that Kyrgyzstan's average GDP growth over the past four years was 10.2%, and the development of green energy is one of the key areas of the National Development Program until 2030. The minister emphasized Kyrgyzstan's readiness to support the company's investment projects.
Hazreti Akdemir, in turn, stated that Kyrgyzstan's economic growth is of great interest to Turkish businesses and expressed his readiness to facilitate the visit of more than 100 Turkish entrepreneurs to Kyrgyzstan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify business contacts and strengthen trade and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
