Bishkek, June 12, 2026 /Kabar/. Askaraly Madaminov, Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy met with Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Director General of foreign relations department at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing Kyrgyz-Vietnamese cooperation in the cultural sector, focusing on museum activities. Specifically, they explored the possibility of implementing joint projects, organizing traveling exhibitions, and conducting research and educational events.
A separate topic of the meeting was the introduction of modern digital technologies into museum practice. Participants discussed the development of virtual exhibitions and the exchange of experience in preserving, studying, and promoting the cultural heritage of the two countries.
Furthermore, the parties discussed the exchange of specialists, internships, and educational programs for cultural and artistic professionals. Participants believe such initiatives will contribute to enhancing the professional qualifications of personnel and strengthening international cooperation.
Following the meeting, they agreed working contacts and prepare specific proposals for the implementation of joint initiatives. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the cultural partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.
