According to the National Bank, as of April 30 of this year, 24 commercial banks and their 306 branches were successfully operating in the republic.
"Since the beginning of the year, a significant increase has been observed in the main indicators of the banking sector. For example, the total assets of banks increased by 28.6% in four months and amounted to 1 trillion 558 billion soms. This indicator indicates an increase in the capital and reliability of financial institutions," the report says.
At the same time, the volume of financing the economy has also increased. The volume of the clients' loan portfolio has increased by 12.4% since the beginning of the year, reaching 569.8 billion soms. As evidence of the trust of citizens and legal entities in banks, we can cite the deposit base increased by 6.7%, reaching 924.1 billion soms.
