Bishkek, June 18, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz delegation from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, led by Minister Nurdan Oruntaev, is participating in the international Construction Summit Turkiye 2026, which is taking place June 17-18 in Ankara.
The summit is one of the key international platforms dedicated to the development of the construction industry, the implementation of innovative technologies, and the expansion of international cooperation.
During the event, Minister Nurdan Oruntaev delivered a report on the current state and development prospects of Kyrgyzstan's construction industry. In his speech, he discussed ongoing reforms, the implementation of infrastructure projects, the development of housing construction, and the introduction of modern technologies in the country's construction sector.
The minister paid special attention to expanding Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation, noting the significant contribution of Turkish companies to the development of Kyrgyzstan's construction industry. He also emphasized the extensive opportunities for further strengthening the partnership between construction companies in the two countries.
As part of the summit, Nurdan Oruntaev held a bilateral meeting with Erdal Eren, President of the Turkish Contractors Association. The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation and collaboration in the construction sector.
