Bishkek, June 17, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, June 17, the Chairman of the State Tax Service, Almambet Shykmamatov, held a meeting with leading representatives of Kyrgyzstan's creative economy.
According to the agency's press service, the meeting discussed the concept of Decree No. 207 on "On Measures to Improve the Taxation System and Tax Administration," which provides significant tax incentives for representatives of the creative industries, the IT sector, and digital content creators.
Almambet Shykmamatov provided a detailed explanation of the document's goals and objectives and explained the main mechanisms for its implementation. Participants discussed the impact of the new tax administration measures on the development of the creative economy, digital technologies, and the country's entrepreneurial environment.
Particular attention was paid to the effective implementation of the incentives provided by the decree and the creation of conditions under which state support measures will facilitate the development of business, creative industries, and digital content production.
The industry representatives had the opportunity to ask the Chairman of the State Tax Service questions of interest and make proposals for further improvement of tax policy and the business climate in Kyrgyzstan.
The head of the Tax Service noted that the new mechanisms are aimed at stimulating economic activity, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating favorable conditions for the development of modern economic sectors.
They discuss the practical application of the new government support measures and their real impact on designers, IT developers, bloggers, directors, producers, and other representatives of the creative industry. Participants examined in detail how the mechanisms envisaged by the decree will work in practice and what new opportunities they open up for the development of the industry.
