Kyrgyzstan's readiness for field work at 89%

Bishkek, April 6, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan currently has over 95,000 units of agricultural machinery, Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reports.

According to the agency, of these, 22,389 tractors, 11,544 plows, 3,468 seeders, 15,467 harrows, 822 fertilizer spreaders, 1,731 ditch diggers, 2,023 levelers, 9,169 tractor trailers, and other equipment are ready.

Currently, the overall readiness of agricultural machinery is 89%.

It is noted that of the 22,389 tractors in the republic, 1,972 tractors, or 88% of the total number of tractors, are ready for field work; 30% of plows, 90% of seeders, 88% of harrows, 92% of fertilizer spreaders, 88% of ditch diggers, 88% of levelers, and 88% of tractor trailers.

In total, more than 8,000 arable units and more than 3,500 seeding machines are involved in seasonal work.
