Bishkek, June 24, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with the SCO countries has more than doubled over the past four years, Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers spoke at SCO Investment Business Forum.

He noted that over the 25 years of its operation, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has convincingly demonstrated its ability to unite countries to achieve common goals.

Today, trade and economic ties within the SCO are expanding, investment projects are being implemented, industrial cooperation is strengthening, and collaboration in key sectors is developing.

"The ten SCO member states have a population of over 3.5 billion people, and their combined GDP is approximately $30 trillion. Our countries also account for approximately 38 percent of global agricultural production. This means we possess colossal human capital, significant natural resources, a strong agricultural and industrial base, and enormous potential for further growth. Going forward, special attention must be paid to developing human capital, supporting youth entrepreneurship, and training a new generation of specialists capable of working in the digital economy and global competition," emphasized Daniyar Amangeldiev.
