Bishkek, April 28, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting of the Coordinating Council on macroeconomic and investment policy under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic at Yntymak Ordo.
According to the relevant department, the meeting heard a report from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce on the selection of the main macroeconomic scenario from the proposed socioeconomic development scenarios for the Kyrgyz Republic for 2027-2031. The document was approved by the members of the Coordination Council.
The assessment of socio-economic development scenarios for Kyrgyzstan for 2027-2031 was conducted taking into account preliminary socio-economic development results for 2025, current macroeconomic dynamics for January-February 2026, and an analysis of internal and external factors influencing the stability and growth rate of the national economy.
The scenarios were developed taking into account actual trends in key economic sectors, the economy's resource potential, as well as the dynamics of investment activity and domestic demand.
Particular attention was paid to the analysis of sources of economic growth, including the creation of budgetary space for the implementation of major priority investment and social projects.
The development of industry, construction, and services has made a significant contribution to economic growth. It is important to maintain macroeconomic stability and take measures to attract investment into the country's economy to maintain high growth rates.
The National Development Program to 2030 envisages ensuring average annual real GDP growth rates.
Following the meeting, taking into account the discussion that took place, the “Basic” scenario was approved as the main macroeconomic scenario.
