Bishkek, June 1, 2026. /Kabar/. On International Children's Day, Ministry of Emergency Situations staff organized educational event for children on safety awareness.
According to the agency, during the event, rescuers taught children about fire safety rules and safe behavior around bodies of water, and also reminded them of emergency procedures. Particular attention was paid to the single emergency number 112, which should be called in case of a threat to life or health.
Furthermore, Emergency situations staff demonstrated basic first aid skills. The children were shown how to properly apply bandages, stop bleeding, and perform CPR.
The children eagerly participated in the practical exercises, asked questions, and learned safety rules that can help preserve life and health in various situations.
The ministry noted that efforts to teach the younger generation the basics of safety and proper actions in emergency situations will continue.
