Bishkek, May 13, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, May 13, at approximately 3:30 PM, a rock slide occurred at kilometer 241.5 of the North-South alternative highway, temporarily closing traffic.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, employees of Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 24 are working at the scene.
Engineering equipment has been deployed, and road clearing operations have begun. Additional information will be provided.
The ministry urges drivers to exercise caution and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
