Bishkek, July 8, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, as part of the Pakistani leader's official visit to Kyrgyzstan, familiarized themselves with the ethnocultural program at the Nomad Amphitheater in Bosteri village in Issyk-Kul region.

The heads of state were greeted by salbuurun performers with taigans and hunting birds. Then, improvising akyns demonstrated the richness of Kyrgyz musical and poetic art to the guests.

The leaders were also shown installations reflecting the distinctive culture and traditional way of life of the nomadic people, including craft workshops and the interiors of yurts.

During the tour of the workshops, Sadyr Zhaparov presented Asif Ali Zardari with a traditional headdress, the ak kalpak.

The ethnocultural program concluded with a demonstration of traditional competitions, including archery, a parade of stunt riders, hunting with falcons, and a competition involving the ancient Taigan breed of greyhound.
