SCO countries aim to deepen industrial partnership

Cholpon-Ata, June 5, 2026. /Kabar/. At the meeting of industry ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov emphasized the importance of further developing industrial cooperation between the member states.

According to the minister, the existing cooperation platform is effective mechanism for deepening practical interaction between SCO member states and developing coordinated solutions aimed at supporting sustainable economic development.

Kudratov noted that strong traditions of industrial cooperation have been established within the organization in recent years. The countries succeeded in developing joint approaches to addressing pressing issues related to industrial development and expanding cooperation. Moreover, mutual trade between SCO member states increased by more than 20%.

He highlighted industrial cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. Kudratov noted the holding of international industrial exhibitions and forums as an important tool for interaction, as they facilitate the strengthening of business contacts, the exchange of experience, and the promotion of new investment initiatives.

"We consider it important to support efforts to develop industrial cooperation, implement joint investment projects, and strengthen integration ties between SCO member states," noted Laziz Kudratov.
