Bishkek, June 26, 2026. /Kabar/. Shanghai Cooperation Organization Women's Forum in Bishkek discusses new opportunities for expanding women's participation in social and economic life.
Zhang Jianmin, Minister of International Relations of the All-China Federation of Chinese Women delivered report at the meeting. She emphasized that developing women's potential within the organization is an important direction for strengthening cooperation between states.
"Today, women make up more than 40 percent of the workforce in Chinese economy, and 45.8 percent of scientific and technical personnel. The country pays special attention to supporting women in technological fields, and thousands of women are undergoing special training in artificial intelligence and digital tools," she said.
He also noted that preferential loans, tax breaks, and business support mechanisms have been created to develop women's entrepreneurship. Women's participation in the green economy, rural entrepreneurship, handicrafts, and environmental projects is actively supported.
"In conclusion, Zhang Jianmin expressed his readiness to implement joint training programs and deepen experience exchange with SCO member states, including Kyrgyzstan, to expand women's opportunities," the report says.
