Bishkek, April 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Forum on artificial intelligence entitled "Artificial Intelligence in the SCO Space: Trust and Sustainable Development" is being held in Bishkek.
The event was held within the framework of the 5th meeting of ministers of information and communication technologies of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and is aimed at further developing cooperation in the field of digital development between the member states of the organization.
Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies Azamat Zhamangulov noted at the forum that Kyrgyzstan is open to international cooperation in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
In his speech, he touched upon the following:
- development of joint projects
- exchange of technologies and experiences
- participation in the global AI ecosystem.
As noted, the forum serves as an expert and dialogue platform for discussing practical aspects of the introduction and use of artificial intelligence technologies.
The forum will consider the best practices of the SCO member states in the use of artificial intelligence, develop interaction between government bodies, business circles, research and educational organizations, and discuss the prospects for implementing joint initiatives and projects.
The forum, where current issues are discussed, is attended by ministers and heads of authorized state bodies in the field of ICT of the SCO member states, representatives of observer states, partners, international and regional organizations, and entrepreneurs.
