Bishkek, May 22, 2026. /Kabar/. The 10th meeting of heads of ministries and institutions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states on science and technology is being held.
The main goal of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation and develop interaction between the SCO member states in the field of science, technology and innovation.
Within the framework of the meeting, they will discuss topical issues of scientific and technical partnership, and joint initiatives aimed at developing the scientific potential of the participating countries.
Representatives of the SCO member states on science and technology, including delegations from Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of the SCO Secretariat, are participating in the work of the 10th meeting on science and technology.
The conference is an important international platform for discussing current issues of cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation, as well as strengthening partnership relations between the SCO member states. The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation notes that the holding of this conference will make a significant contribution to the development of international scientific and technical cooperation and the expansion of interaction between the SCO countries.
