Bishkek, June 24, 2026. /Kabar/. The SCO Regional Project Support Center has opened in Kyrgyzstan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.
According to the Chamber, this is the first specialized platform in Kyrgyzstan focused on supporting investment, infrastructure, and international projects within the Organization.
The center was opened at the initiative of Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and current SCO Chairman, as part of the implementation of the priorities of Kyrgyzstan's 2025–2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Presidency.
"During Kyrgyzstan's SCO Presidency, we must create new tools that will facilitate business development, attract investment, implement joint initiatives, and strengthen economic ties between our countries. The Regional Project Support Center will become precisely such a platform, uniting the interests of businesses, investors, and government institutions," emphasized Temir Sariev.

The center's main objectives will be to support promising investment and infrastructure projects, promote trade and economic cooperation between SCO member states, find partners for joint initiatives, and provide expert and organizational support to businesses.
Meerim Kozhokmatova, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, a specialist with extensive experience in Kyrgyz-Chinese trade, economic, and investment cooperation, has been appointed head of the Regional Project Support Center.
