Bishkek, June 16, 2026 /Kabar/. The program providing interest-free loans to successful participants of the "Social Contract" project has been launched for the third time. Gulmairam Aftandil kyzy, a leading specialist in the Employment Promotion Solutions Department of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration told on Birinchi Radio.

According to her, the interest-free loan amount is up to 200,000 soms, with citizens able to receive up to 100,000 soms without collateral or guarantors.

"Starting this week, Social Contract participants in all regional offices can apply for interest-free loans from state-owned banks, Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank. The maximum loan amount is up to 200,000 soms. Loans under 100,000 soms are issued without collateral or guarantors. Loans over 100,000 soms require a guarantor and collateral. The main requirement is no other outstanding loans and a clean credit history. The loan term is three years. During this period, borrowers repay only the principal amount, without interest, which is covered by the state," explained a ministry representative.

As a reminder, the Social Contract program aims to support low-income families and help them start their own businesses. Under the program, families enter into an agreement with the state and commit to using the funds received for entrepreneurship or other sources of income.

The goal of the program is not simply to provide social assistance, but to create conditions for increasing citizens' independence and improving their standard of living.
