Bishkek, May 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Sustainable Agro-Industrial Complex Center will open in Kyrgyzstan. Honored Agricultural Figure and PhD in Agricultural Sciences Taalaibek Aidaraliev announced on Birinchi Radio.
According to him, this agro-industrial complex will be the first facility of its kind in Central Asia and the world, organized by Korean companies.
"It is known that the combined annual turnover of the participating companies will be $250 million. Over the past three to four years, we have been preparing, engaging our existing partners, to attract investors from South Korea. There are currently no similar examples, not only in Kyrgyzstan but also worldwide. This will be a permanent exhibition and fair. It will allow for the direct supply of equipment, tools, and new technologies from Korean agro-industrial companies, without intermediaries.
"Preparatory work is currently almost complete. About 40 agro-industrial companies with a total capital turnover of $250 million will arrive from Korea. About 20 local industrial enterprises will also participate in the project. The center will begin operating in a test mode on May 18, and we have scheduled the official opening for May 20," Aidaraliev said.
It's worth noting that the exhibition, located in the Ak-Bata residential complex in Bishkek, will be open to visitors from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on May 18. Anyone interested will be able to visit the exhibit, establish direct contacts with Korean companies, and order the necessary equipment and technologies without intermediaries.
