Bishkek, June 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Turkish instructors are conducting training sessions in Kyrgyzstan for the Commando program and sniping, Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the department, training sessions have been underway at Military Unit 36806 of the Southwestern Operational Command of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces since June 1, under the supervision of military instructors who arrived from Turkiye.
As part of the training sessions, a sniping competition was organized between units of the Southwestern Operational Command of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces. In addition, the participants had previously successfully completed a mountain training course.
The internal security courses under the "Commandos" program will continue until June 30 of this year.
