An important area of cooperation is the implementation of the CASA-1000 project, which is in its final stage. The launch of the project is expected to unite the energy systems of the two countries and create new opportunities for the export and transit of electricity to third countries, contributing to the energy security of the region and strengthening the energy partnership.
The parties expressed their readiness to consider promising areas for the development of industrial cooperation, primarily through the creation of joint ventures, which will allow processing agricultural products and supplying finished products to the markets of the EAEU countries, promoting the development of the industrial potential of the two countries.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the untapped potential in the development of trade and economic cooperation, expressing confidence in the possibility of increasing trade turnover to $500 million in the near future. He also noted the importance of import substitution and mutual purchases of goods and raw materials, emphasizing the need to diversify trade relations, expand the range of products to supply and reduce dependence on external factors.
