Bishkek, June 25, 26. /Kabar/. The 5th meeting of board of directors of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company LLC were held in Bishkek on June 24, with the participation of shareholder representatives and members of the company's board of directors, Kyrgyz state enterprise Kyrgyz Temir Zholu reports.

According to the company, the meetings addressed key issues related to the company's activities related to the implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project, summarizing the results of work for 2025 and identifying key areas of activity for 2026.

Particular attention was paid to transparency in project implementation, compliance with international standards of corporate governance, environmental safety, and social responsibility.

During the event, participants also signed the document "Initiative for Ensuring Integrity in the Construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway," aimed at strengthening the principles of openness, transparency, legality, and the prevention of corruption in the project's implementation.

During the discussion, Roman Spassky, a member of the board of directors of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company LLC and First Deputy General Director of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu State Enterprise, also raised a number of issues and proposals aimed at improving the efficiency of the project.

Special attention was paid to the need for strict compliance with environmental standards and requirements at all stages of railway construction, as well as strengthening environmental controls for contractors and subcontractors, preventing environmental pollution, and ensuring strict compliance with Kyrgyz law by foreign nationals involved in railway construction.

Roman Spassky also raised the need to ensure that information signs, warning signs, and other notices at construction sites and along the construction corridor comply with Kyrgyz law, ensuring they are available in both Chinese and Kyrgyz.

Furthermore, attention was focused on the employment of Kyrgyz citizens during the project. In this regard, the need to consistently increase the share of local specialists and workers by more actively involving them in the implementation of the project was emphasized.
