Bishkek, March 10, 2026 /Kabar/. From 2025 to 2030, electricity tariffs in Kyrgyzstan will increase gradually, in line with inflation, without any sudden increases. Timur Orozaliev, Director of the department for regulation of the fuel and energy complex under the Ministry of Energy, announced at Kabar news agency program.
According to him, the medium-term tariff policy for the period until 2030 came into effect on May 1, 2025.

"This year, we are moving to the next stage of the tariff policy. Currently, we have seven categories of consumers; previously, there were 14. Among them, support for low-income families remains; for them, the tariff will remain at 50 tyiyn per kWh within the 700 kWh limit," Orozaliev noted.
New tariffs for individuals and organizations:
Residents, up to 700 kWh: the tariff will be 1 som 64 tyiyn (an increase of 27 tyiyn).
Residents, over 700 kWh: the tariff will be 2 som 94 tyiyn (an increase of 34 tyiyn).
Residents of high-mountain and hard-to-reach areas: the tariff will be 1 som 64 tyiyn (an increase of 27 tyiyn).
Social and public facilities (pumping stations, religious organizations, boarding schools, facilities for people with disabilities and the elderly): 2 soms 96 tyiyn (increase by 34 tyiyn).
Industrial enterprises: 3 soms 65 tyiyn.
Public sector consumers: 4 soms 62 tyiyn.
Commercial consumers: 4 soms 33 tyiyn.
Energy-intensive industrial consumers: 6 soms 84 tyiyn.
Electric vehicle charging stations: the tariff will be 5 soms 99 tyiyn starting May 1.
