Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. A presentation of the acceleration program of the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Community of Kazakhstan (NACOFEC) was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organization, which is successfully developing export corridors in Kazakhstan, presented its capabilities for the first time in Bishkek, offering Kyrgyz entrepreneurs direct access to one of China's largest retail networks, China Co-op.

The event was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kyrgyz Export Center for Export Development and Promotion under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, as well as agribusiness representatives and export-oriented entrepreneurs of the republic.

The main outcome of the meeting was the announcement of the launch in Kyrgyzstan of mechanisms that have already proven successful as part of NACOFEC's strategic partnership with the All-China Federation of Organic Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC). Now, Kyrgyz organic producers will be able to find space on specialized shelves in a network of 341,000 retail outlets across China.

Avazbek Kerimbaev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that entering the Chinese market opens new opportunities for the domestic economy.

"The world is eager to enter the Chinese market, and Kyrgyzstan has every chance to carve out a niche there. Our colleagues from Kazakhstan, with their extensive experience exporting to China, are ready to share their knowledge and assist in establishing laboratories in the Kyrgyz Republic. "Establishing exports to China will be a powerful driver of economic growth for Kyrgyzstan," he emphasized.

NACOFEC President Kazybek Shaikh emphasized the importance of regional integration.

"We brought proven export technology to Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan's experience shows that uniting small and medium-sized producers into sustainable export chains is the only path to success in a market as large as China. Kyrgyz products are unique in their environmental friendliness, and our task is to provide them with a 'green corridor,' from certification to the shelves at China Co-op. This is the first, but decisive, step toward creating a unified organic brand for Central Asia," he said.

During the presentation, a practical workflow was presented, which is now also available to Kyrgyz producers. This includes direct access to the China Co-op network as part of the "Central Asian Organic Shelf" project, acceleration and training in packaging and certification adaptation, the conclusion of off-take contracts for guaranteed product sales, as well as technology transfer and the introduction of small-scale industrialization for deep processing of raw materials directly in Kyrgyzstan.

Meeting participants noted that the use of proven Kazakh practices will allow Kyrgyz businesses to shorten the path to entering the Chinese market and avoid common pitfalls at the export stage.

The event concluded with a signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between NACOFEC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at promoting Kyrgyz producers in international markets and developing cooperative, production, marketing, and financial infrastructure in the country.
