Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2025 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev attended the third Central Asia - European Union Economic Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev noted the importance of strengthening interregional cooperation and continuing interaction in a number of areas, including the economy, green energy, transport, and important mineral resources.
Bakyt Torobaev met with EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, Josef Sikela within the framework of the forum.
During the meeting, the current cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union was discussed. At the meeting, Torobaev highly appreciated the support provided by the European Union and European institutions in implementing significant projects in Kyrgyzstan.
