Bishkek, June 1, 2026. /Kabar/. The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2027. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov told at press conference.

As the deputy minister noted, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum were held in Astana on May 28-29, chaired by Kazakhstan. At the meeting, attended by heads of state, 18 issues were discussed on the agenda, and approximately 20 documents were signed.
"The meeting focused not on the rapid implementation of artificial intelligence, its shared and responsible use in various sectors of the economy." The heads of state also discussed the EAEU's economic cooperation with third countries. Negotiations with Tunisia were launched.
President Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the importance of protecting the interests of domestic producers while opening markets to new partners. Preferential terms for countries with less developed industries were also proposed. The meeting addressed the development of a unified approach to seed production, the development of a common electricity market, and the improvement of customs and budget policies.

Akhmatov also spoke about the issues discussed at the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum.
