Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev stated that Kyrgyzstan continues to view Russia as strategic partner and ally, and that isolated provocative statements unrelated to the real interstate agenda do not deserve further attention.

According to the minister, cooperation between the countries is developing sustainably within the framework of international and regional associations such as CSTO, SCO and the CIS. These formats ensure stable political dialogue and practical cooperation on collective security and regional stability, based on the principles of mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests.

Kulubaev noted that Kyrgyzstan proceeds from an objective assessment of the current situation, which is characterized by developing dialogue, strengthening cooperation mechanisms, and the absence of preconditions for possible disagreements. The country's foreign policy remains balanced and constructive, aimed at strengthening trust, stability, and cooperation in the region.

Minister focused on cooperation during Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Kyrgyzstan in November 2025. He stated that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia have significant potential for further development.

He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan will continue to pursue a balanced foreign policy, strengthening trust and cooperation with international and regional partners.
