Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2026 /Kabar/. The "Modern Customs" international forum is taking place at the Ala-Archa State Residence in Bishkek.
Participants in the event include Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic; Ian Saunders, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization; Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS); Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce; as well as representatives from government agencies and the business community.
The forum aims to discuss global and regional trends in the development of customs operations and international trade, present the results and priorities of the digital transformation of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, and facilitate a practical dialogue with the business community regarding the transition to a new model of customs administration.
