More than 2 bln soms allocated to support agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 13, 2026. /Kabar/. “Aiyl Bank” has allocated more than 2 billion soms to support the agricultural sector, Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing reports.

According to the information, the bank provides preferential loans to farmers and creates real conditions for the development of agricultural production.

Currently, the “Agricultural Financing - 14” project is being implemented as part of state support. The total budget of the project is 1 billion 224 million soms. Within its framework, financial support of up to 1 million soms is provided for activities in the field of crop production and livestock farming, and up to 3 million soms for the introduction of water-saving technologies.

In addition, the “Financing of the Agro-Industrial Complex” project is also being implemented. The project budget is 227.6 million soms. This program provides financial support of up to 5 million soms to farmers engaged in crop production and livestock farming, and up to 300 million soms to entities engaged in aggregation activities.

There is also a “Development of Purebred Livestock” project to improve the quality of livestock farming. Its total budget is 616 million soms. At the same time, up to 20 million soms will be provided to breeding plants and farms, up to 20 million soms to importers, up to 2 million soms to artificial insemination technicians, as well as up to 20 million soms to farms and individual entrepreneurs for the purchase of purebred cows and heifers.

In implementing these projects, Aiyl Bank OJSC provides affordable financial services to farmers and agricultural producers, contributing to the effective implementation of government programs.

In general, these government projects are aimed at modernizing the agricultural sector, increasing production volumes, introducing new technologies, and expanding the economic opportunities of farmers.
