Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2026. /Kabar/. Individuals blacklisted by banks will be able to obtain loans again after three years. The corresponding bill was approved by Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development in its first reading.

The document is aimed at easing the conditions for citizens' access to credit resources and promoting financial inclusion. Specifically, it proposes reducing the storage period for negative credit information from five to three years.

Furthermore, the bill stipulates that the negative credit history of borrowers who received loans of up to 10,000 soms will be deleted after one year.

The adoption of the amendments is expected to reduce the burden on borrowers, simplify re-access to bank lending, and create a more favorable environment for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
